Taurus Exclusive: Köprülü Canyon, Tazı Canyon Viewpoint, Roman Bridge & Ancient Selge
Discover the Taurus Mountains in one day: Tazı Canyon views, Köprülü Canyon, Roman bridge , Selge ruins & theatre , lunch included.
Step off the coast and into the wild heart of the Taurus Mountains on a full-day, small-adventure discovery route that blends dramatic canyon scenery with ancient history.
Your day begins with a comfortable pickup and a short briefing break at our base before entering Köprülü Canyon National Park, one of the region’s most striking protected landscapes. From here, the experience levels up with a thrilling ride to Tazı Canyon —a famous viewpoint where towering cliffs drop into a deep gorge, and the river winds far below.
After soaking in the panorama and capturing your best photos, you’ll return to the station and enjoy a mini rafting session on the Köprüçay River—an easy, refreshing taste of rafting that adds a real “Taurus adventure” feel without taking over the whole day.
Next, travel upward into the mountains to Selge Ancient City, a rarely-visited archaeological gem located within/near the national park area. Here you’ll see the atmosphere change from raw nature to deep history—highlighted by Selge’s impressive ancient theatre, built on a mountainside with wide-open views.
Before you finish, you’ll stop at the photogenic Roman stone bridge (often referred to as Oluk Bridge / Eurymedon Bridge) spanning the river canyon—an iconic landmark that many tours showcase as a signature photo moment on this route.
With lunch included and a guide to connect the scenery and stories, this is the kind of day that feels like you visited a different Turkey—all in one smooth itinerary.
